There are no updates for my current OS with my Mac. My MX340 was printing fine from my 27' Mac with MacOS Sierra 10.12 - until I changed ink cartridges this time I use aftermarket ones all the time with no problem. I went to Canon's website and downloaded the latest drivers/software they have but they only have updates through and older version of the OS I use with my Mac. If I go in to manually select the software, it only gives me a list of software options of non-canon printers. I let it auto select and each time it says I need to contact Canon to get the correct software/driver. It then asks for the software/driver to install. When I go to system preferences and search for the printer, I find it. ![]() ![]() I recently bought an iMAC desktop but I can't install the printer. I'm hoping someone can help me! I have a Pixma MX870 printer.
